2 Scholarships for women in STEM (undergraduates and graduates)

This scholarship is available to undergraduate and graduate female students who apply for a degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.

3 Scholarships, 1 per Focus Area (undergraduates and graduates)

One scholarship per Focus area will be awarded to undergraduate or graduate students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, intellectual creativity and who are motivated to make a difference in the world.

Scholarship Application

  • Complete your application for admission by May 1, 2020 (there is no extra application necessary). Students who have already been admitted for the Fall 2020 intake will automatically be considered for the scholarship.
  • Receive feedback by May 12, 2020.
  • Shortlisted candidates will have a Skype interview with the Scholarship Committee between May 13-18, 2020.
  • Receive the final decision by May 20, 2020.

Undergraduate student requirements

If you have no high school diploma yet, you can submit it later!

Applications need to include the following documents:

  • One recommendation letter from a school official (e.g. school counselor, teacher or principal)
  • School transcripts of the last 2-3 years
  • Educational history form
  • Proof of English-language proficiency (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo etc.)
  • Results of your standardized test(s) SAT/ACT/TestAS
  • You may be exempted from this requirement depending on your high school subject combination and expected/earned high school diploma type.

Graduate student requirements

Applications for MSc Data Engineering and MSc Supply Chain Management need toinclude the following documents:

  • Letter of Motivation
  • Curriculum vitae (CV)
  • University transcript in English or German
  • Bachelor’s degree certificate or equivalent (may be handed in later)
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • English language proficiency test with a minimum score of 90 (TOEFL), 6.5 (IELTS) or 60 (Duolingo). Native speakers and applicants who completed their undergraduate studies in English may be exempt from this requirement.

Applications for MSc Psychologie need to include the following documents:

Letter of Motivation

Curriculum vitae (CV)

University transcript in English or German

Bachelor’s degree certificate or equivalent

Non-native German speakers applying for the MSc Psychologie need to provide a German language proficiency test (Goethe-Zertifikat level C1, TestDaF level 4 or DSH level 2.

English language proficiency test with a minimum score of 72 (TOEFL), 5.5 (IELTS) or 40 (Duolingo). Alternatively, students may submit a confirmation from their previous university that their undergraduate studies were conducted in English.

Note: The Full Tuition Scholarship covers the tuition fee for 3 years (Bachelor) and 2 years (Master). It does not cover the costs for room and board (currently 8,000 Euro per academic year) and the general university fee (currently 650,00 Euro per academic year).
